Michelin at Le Mans

In 2024, Michelin is the official tire supplier for the whole 23 Hypercar prototypes of 24h le Mans race and WEC champiosnhip. Michelin sees motorsport in general, and endurance racing and the Le Mans 24 Hours in particular, as a means to accelerate innovation.

The proportion of renewable/recycled raw materials that go into MICHELIN Pilot Sport endurance-racing rain tires stands at 45 percent.
In 2021, Michelin presented a demonstration tire containing 46 percent recycled/renewable raw materials for the MissionH24 hydrogen fuel-cell racing prototype.

Since last season, the Wet rain tires raced by endurance racing's Hypercar prototypes incorporate 45 percent renewable/recycled raw materials. Motorsport is one of the driving forces behind Groupe Michelin's Everything Sustainable plan for 2050.

Michelin at 24h Le Mans, it's 32 victories including 26 in a row since 1998 !

The Challenge

The Michelin #WeRaceForChange Challenge is a competition made up of 2 events:

  • A time trial event onsite the 24hrs of Le Mans Village, in the Michelin booth.
  • An online event available directly on Le Mans Ultimate - the official game of the competition.

Try your best to win one of the many prizes made available by Michelin:

  • An Asetek La Prima racing pack (rim, wheelbase and pedals included).
  • Tickets to participate in the online grand final of the Michelin We Race For Change Challenge.
  • Hours of coaching by the Race Clutch Center team on Le Mans Ultimate, divided into 1 hour of driving techniques and 1 hour of tire and fuel management for endurance races.
  • Thrustmaster racing wheels.
  • Vouchers of €100 available on Rseat.fr
  • Michelin goodies.
